Photos for HPKCHC June 2011

Option 1: What is important simply because of its absence? Craft something that makes use of “negative space” in the design; for example, parts of the fabric are not present, or certain parts lack color.

I've knitted a "Positive Prophecy" Baby Bolero. The pattern is from Leigh Radford's "One Skein" book, and she writes,

"The back features an optional eyelet motif, that according to Eastern folklore, brings good luck and protection to the wearer, no matter his or her size."

So there's the holes, and there's the prophecy!
