What is a villanelle? The villanelle is a nineteen-line poem which uses only two rhymes. Like a sonnet, it is constrained in form. Perhaps the most famous modern villanelle is Dylan Thomas' "Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night." My villanelles are less exemplary, but more vegan. (And tastier!)
